I’m Remya 42yrs old from Trivandrum,currently residing in Muscat along with my family.I would like to share my experience of SMS meditation here.I was someone who was so drawn towards spirituality at a very young age.My real inward journey started with Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings and I was further guided to Sadguru.Inner Engineering offer by Sadguru was a key tool for me to reach my Guru .
It was one morning after doing my Inner Engineering that I came across a youtube video of a child who saw Lord Ganapathi and how he enjoyed the company of the Divine family ,this developed a curiosity in me which compelled me to search further and that lead me to Thasamai Guruji.All these years I persuaded my spiritual journey only through books and videos never a Guru personally,neither did I know that I will ever come under a direct guidance of a Guru,I felt it was too much for me to even wish for.Now I’m filled with gratitude to all my Guru Parambara to have made this possible for me.
Using zoom class as a medium to transmit spirituality, Guruji has made it more accessible for directly reaching out to His Shishyaganagal across the globe.To me Thasami is a revival of our ancient Gurukulam ,here Guruji and Guruma guides each one of us in leading a life rooted in spirituality.Sun Moon Star meditation covers all the aspects that is essential for Human life to progress, make us gain access to Prapancham or the Universal consciousness directly by following Universal Law Sathyam Vada, Dharmam Chara,Ahimsa is the core principle that Guruji strongly instils in us.
Spirituality is an experience to me now ,not just belief .SMS meditation made me more conscious and aware of my very self.Anxiety,stress and sufferings has been replaced with joy,bliss and contentment.Lethargy and lack of energy that I developed due to my poor lifestyle got refilled with positivity and love to work.Challenges I face is another step for my inner progress now.All these changes that is happening within has made my experience of life more profound and meaningful
Day 2 of meditation I saw Sadguru and Thasmai Guruji both of them watching over us(me and my mom was doing the meditation together)further during my meditations I saw Lord Ayyapan,Lord Shiva,Lord Ganapathi,Mata Parvathi,Sathya Sai Baba,Mata Amritanandhamayi,Swami Chinmayananda,Shiridi Sai Baba and many more Divine Gurus.Most precious experience of my first phase meditation was that , a star that I was meditating upon took a form of a Guru who was trying to walk towards me as fast as He can ,He had a walking stick in one hand which was helping Him to walk at a faster pace,I tried to figure it out who was that ,but it was in vain.On the last day of my first phase meditation that form showed itself and that was Gurudevan himself.
Gurudevan has been our Kula Guru.I do recollect hearing from Mom and Mom’s Aunt that once when Gurudevan had visited Kulathoor my maternal Grandmother’s hometown He had given half of His banana that he was eating to my Grandma and later as years passed her Guru Neelakantha Swamiyar once took a banana gave one half to her and said now its become one.So through all such stories Gurudevan has been an integral part of our family but still for me He was my family
member and a social reformer than a Guru.
My second phase meditation was even more profound.Whole throughout I saw Gurudevan in the Star I was meditating.Just 5 day left for my second phase meditation to get over I had to travel to Dubai once I got back I asked permission for my mom’s 3rd phase meditation but Guruji not only rejected giving permission but also gave scolding for not having enough samarpanam,I was upset and scared to do the rest of my pending meditation but took courage and sat for my Sun meditation ,but something way beyond happended to me.Initially I couldn’t see anything then I could feel a pressure building up around my abdomen I heard a clear instruction that said to get up from the chair ,for the very first time in my life I just trusted and surrendered completely.I was made to bend forward in salutation to Prapancha Guru the Sun and then I had to bend back ward ,suddenly I was surrounded with bright light and I could see Lord Hanuman there ,once meditation was over something in me got chucked out forever I could completely surrendered to the Universe without any hesitation .Rest of my meditation made me further experience this joy.Never did I know Gurudevan had been my guiding light all throughout my life,and this realization wouldn’t have been possible without Guruji.Through Guruji and Gurudevan I got connected to the Universal Consciousness and I’m fully aware of the guidance I get.My humble Pranamam to Guruji and Guruma for taking me under their care.My prayer to Prapancham is to make this meditation accessible to each and everyone.May every being get this rare blessing and enjoy this bliss.
