Gurugramam
“Gurugramam is not just one person's dream —
It is a necessity for the survival of the world.”
Gurugramam is a visionary, socio-spiritual model village(s) designed to promote ethical, sustainable, and holistic living based on the principles of Prapancha Dharma (Universal Laws), and guded by a GuruTatva (the Guru’s principle). Through this initiative, we seek to establish a transformative ecosystem where Scientific Spiritual research, online education, and self-sustaining community development merge to serve the greater good of the world.
We are committed to developing this project as a national model of conscious living. Aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat and deeply rooted in Sanatana Dharma, it aims to contribute meaningfully to our spiritual, social, and technological renaissance.
Gurugramam is..
– An initiative for those who live according to Prapanchadharma by strictly adhering to the Guru Tatva of Pancha Dharma and Pancha Sudhi, and who sincerely desire to do good for themselves, their families, society, and the world.
– A humble attempt to raise the scale of Dharma by creating a human society living in Dharma.
– Not just the dream of an individual or a few individuals, but the need for the survival of the world.
– The greatest wealth that each of us can accumulate and pass on to future generations.
– This is only the beginning of a transformation. What we initiate will be carried forward by future generations. But the time to stand together and take the first step has already passed.
– Personal interests and selfish desires have no relevance here. Only Dharma holds importance. Dharma is impartial, not based on individual preferences. The thoughts of “mine” and “yours” are irrelevant. We must recognize that we all live only by the mercy of the universe.

Gurugramam isn't built — it happens when we become selfless.
This is a project led by the universe. There are certain things that we humans cannot create, they simply happen. One such thing is “Gurugramam”.
Gurugramam is not something that we can build with our plans or abilities. Rather, it happens when each of us becomes pure and selfless. Nothing is our ability, but when we become selfless, everything is given by the universe as a blessing and a gift.
The universe will start working through selfless individuals. May we all become a pen of the universe.

Gurugramams unite through Guru Tatva to form a global family — Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
When living in accordance with Guru Tatva, the first transformation begins within the individual. As individuals embrace righteousness, family bonds are strengthened, leading to unity and peace. Each small family transforms into an Ashram. When such families naturally come together with a selfless wish to share that happiness with others. This creates a Gurugramam.
As more Gurugramams spread across the world through actions rooted in cosmic Dharma, they form a Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — a global family based on the principle of “Satyam Vada, Dharmam Chara” (Speak the truth, walk the path of righteousness).
Every member of this global family is like a link in a chain, connected through Guru Tatva.
Gurugramam: The greatest Gurudakshina
No existing system in the world today can bring about a fundamental transformation in humanity. Therefore, the practices of Thasmai cannot be compared to any existing system, science, rituals, or ashrams/organizations. It is not meant to be confined by any existing framework or rule. This is the simple and most straightforward path for all people to live better, happier lives.
As Gurugrams grow, their impact will increase. They can build industries that benefit the world. By following the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru, we can unite, become stronger, and achieve success and prosperity through industry, helping the world along the way.
This is the greatest Gurudakshina we can offer to the Guru Parampara.
When someone gives us a pen, a packet of rice, or anything else, we thank them. We show gratitude to our parents, spouses, siblings, children, and everyone in many ways. But this is a chance for us to show our gratitude to the universe, which provides everything we need for free, without expecting anything in return. May we all make this opportunity selflessly and wisely.

Why Gurugramam?
Today, the world is at the peak of Adharma (unrighteousness)
Sri Narayana Guru said, ” This world stands on TRUTH; therefore, one must speak the truth and never lie.”
Today, when we look at our society, we do not even see truth and dharma. From deceiving one’s own conscience to relationships within families, between husband and wife, parents and children, siblings, as well as in workplaces, education, hospitals, business, government, and media. Every part of society is filled with lies, betrayal, slander, and exploitation. Only falsehood and unrighteousness remain. Today, the world is at the peak of adharma (unrighteousness).
Even after such a great moral decline, if this world still continues to exist, it is only because of the righteous thoughts of our great Gurus. We have a lineage of Gurus who continue to work for the well-being of the world, both in the subtle and the physical world.
The evil thoughts of billions of unrighteous people can be balanced and held in place by the righteous thoughts of a single Guru. This is what we must understand from this. But now, this balance is being disturbed.
When we forget our Dharma, we break our bond with the universe
Among billions of people, even finding a single self-realized guru is difficult today. A society that lives by dharma is very rare (we could even say it hardly exists). Not only that, but adharma and unrighteous people are increasing beyond limits. To balance this, the number of self-realized beings and those who live by dharma must also increase. Evil thoughts must be transformed into righteous thoughts.
All our thoughts spread into the universe. When negative thoughts arise and we turn toward adharma, our connection with the universe gets severed. The universe creates a protective barrier, shielding itself from the influence of such evil thoughts. At that point, we become like a kite with a broken string detached from the universe, drifting aimlessly without direction.
However, today, adharma has grown so powerful that it is breaking through even this protective barrier of the universe. If it becomes a threat to the universe itself, then, over time, it is even possible for the universe to completely destroy the human race. We already know that many species have faced extinction. It is to prevent such a great disaster that the Gurus, who are the voice of the universe, teach us to walk in dharma.
Protect our culture by living in Dharma.
There is no point in blaming our family, society, or government. It is also meaningless to say that outsiders came and destroyed our culture. Everything we experience today is the result of our own karma. The reason we are in this state today is that we failed to protect our own culture. (For example, if a husband and wife argue at home, many people may interfere and worsen the situation. But it is each one’s dharma to protect their own family.)
Likewise, protecting Sanatana Dharma is the duty of each one of us. For that, each of us must live well by following the universal dharma and strive to reestablish righteousness.
If we live in dharma, no matter how much the world tries, it will not be able to destroy us. That is the infinite power of truth and dharma. It is not our ability rather, everything is a blessing from the universe when we live by universal law. This, we must always remember. Here comes the importance of a Gurugramam.
#Quoting the very words of Sri Narayana Guru.
(a) “It is better to fail standing with dharma than to succeed with adharma.”
(b) “Those who walk for God’s cause will be protected by God Himself.”
(c) “Selfless service will always receive divine blessings.”
